The synoptic panels emerged as a result of the need to control remotely a complex industrial process and clearly visible to all operators. They were graphic representations of the process that incorporated digital meters. These meters reported the value of the critical magnitude and its control points. In this way, in a very fast and visual way, the synoptic panel showed how the process was developing, the levels, the failures and the alarms.
Nowadays, other systems have taken the lead for remote process control. Even so, they continue to produce synoptic panels that offer the same basic control functionality, but endowed with an industrial character that is impossible to achieve otherwise.
Recently, FEMA has collaborated in the creation of one of these panels with 126 units of our smallest meter: the L35 meter. This synoptic panel, produced by our collaborators Benseny and INAC Engineering, is an authentic beauty.
